UAE To India Travel: Airfares Drop To Dh250 As 7-Day Mandatory Quarantine Hits Travellers

If you’re planning to travel from Dubai to India then be prepared to undergo a strict 7-day period of home quarantine. Due to the rise of Omicron cases in India, India has implemented strict protocols for international passengeges. Owing to the quarantine protocol, families and business travellers from the UAE have cancelled their trips. Due to the massive drop in travel between the two countries, airfares have almost become half. In fact, the airfares have drastically dropped to Dh250.

India Implements New Travel Guidelines For Arrivals From Dubai

Firstly passengers arriving from Dubai must be prepared to undergo 7-days of home quarantine. Secondly, they don’t need to take any RT-PCR tests on arrival. Those not residing in India will be transferred in a transport arranged by the district officer. Dubai arrivals with connecting flights to other countries will be allowed to carry on with their travel from Indian airports.

Residents of India arriving from Dubai will be tracked meticulously by the Ward War Room for 7 days. On the 8th day, an RT-PCR test will be conducted. On the testing negative, the traveller must self-monitor for another week. But if the test is positive then the traveller must be shifted to an institution for quarantine. With these strict rules, make sure you plan your travel to India accordingly and abide by these rules strictly.
