Sharjah Light Festival 2022 Will Treat You With 11 Nights Of Colourful Displays
As the sun sets behind the Sharjah skyline, the sounds of the evening Namaaz fill the air, and the waves of the Corniche glisten. A few lights flicker over the mosque as the day gives way to darkness. This is the point where the magic begins. The Sharjah Light Festival is set to return with 11 nights of colourful displays and music. If prior festivals are any indication, we’re in for a visual treat this year.
The Festival Will Start From February 9
In the centre of a contemporary metropolis, this little exhibit can transport you back in time. The vibrant event is the region’s first and only of its sort. It attracts tens of thousands of tourists each year to up to 20 places throughout Sharjah. The designs get inspiration from the culture, legends, and customs of the area. The Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority is hosting the 2022 Sharjah Light Festival. It runs from Sunday, February 9 to Thursday, February 20.
When Did The Festival Commence?

What To Expect from Sharjah Light Festival?
Are you ready to watch the Emirate come alive with colour? The event transforms Sharjah’s buildings into a kaleidoscope of imaginative lights and colour. The yearly display features a variety of locales that are recast with light and sound shows. Don’t miss to make your Insta-Moments! In addition to this, the event makes use of energy-efficient lighting. In other words, all of the lights and projectors utilised have received environmental certification.
Colours abound throughout the mosque. Beautiful patterns swirl across the minarets, illuminating the otherwise beige structure. To create a light and music experience, they use creative approaches. Buildings are sometimes employed as a backdrop for visual narratives. So, what seems to be a white edifice during the day becomes a vibrant mosaic at night.
