Expatriates’ Children Can Convert Their Visit Visas To Saudi Arabia Into Resident ID Iqama

According to a Saudi publication, if both parents have valid iqamas, children of expatriates under 18 may have their visit visas to Saudi Arabia. However, further changed into resident ID cards or residence permits. The expiration of the expat’s iqama does not prevent the renewal of the visitor’s visa, according to the Saudi General Directorate of Passports.

What Are The Required Instructions? 

According to instructions, the total length of the family visa extension cannot exceed 180 days. The overall length of the family visa extension cannot go above 180 days, according to the instructions. Three days after the validity of the visit visa expires, a late fee is assessed. There is a sizable number of migrant labourers in Saudi.  

The Jawazat made it clear that anybody seeking to grant a visit visa must get in touch with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Ministry of Education stated on August 23 that foreign children residing illegally in Saudi Arabia may enrol in school.

You Need To Follow The Instructions Strictly In Saudi Arabia 

The Jawazat confirmed that the validity of the visa is a requirement for departure. Moreover, emphasised the importance of adhering to the visa’s rules and departing before it expires.

It is important to note that the Jawazat said it has no authority over the issuance or approval of visit visas. However, anybody seeking to do so should get in touch with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
